Welcome to House Sunside Apartments
The house "Sunside Apartments" was built in 1960 and operated for many decades as an inn with attached restaurant under the name "Sonnenhof".
The Trieb family acquired the house in 2004 and converted it into a well-frequented bed and breakfast.
Now, in 2022, the second generation of the Trieb family has converted the house into a modern apartment building. The focus was on the complete renovation and conversion of the old rooms and the guest room into bright and comfortable 2-room and 3-room self-catering apartments.
The name was also changed to "Sunside Apartments" because all apartments face the sun (i.e. south, west and east).
A 3-room apartment on the ground floor - the Apartment Sunside 1 - and two 2-room apartments - the Apartment Sunside 2 on the east side and the Apartment Sunside 3 on the west side - on the first floor are currently available to guests.
Each apartment is spacious and can accommodate 4 people - so up to 12 people can stay in the house "Sunside Apartments".
All accommodations are equipped with a bathroom with sink, shower and toilet. In addition, there is a flat screen TV in each accommodation - as well as a very well equipped kitchenette. Bedlinen and towels will be provided.
The two apartments on the upper floor each have a balcony with a very nice view.
Unlimited WiFi is available throughout the house and can be used free of charge.
A washing machine accessible to guests can be used. There is also a ski room in the "Sunside Apartments" house.
Pets are NOT allowed in the house.
Because of the ideal location, all attractions in the region can be reached quickly and easily:
In Summer you can swim in Ödensee approx. 10 km away or in Altausseersee and Grundlsee approx. 25 km away, as well as in Alpenbad in Bad Mitterndorf approx. 500 m away. The beautiful R19 cycle path leads in the near the house, as well as several hiking trails such as the Obersdorfer Rundweg etc. Other highlights such as a boat rental at the Salza reservoir, riding opportunities, paragliding, climbing etc. invite you to a great summer vacation.
In Winter, the 180 km long cross-country skiing network passes in the immediate vicinity. You can reach the Tauplitzalm alpine family ski area, approx. 5 km away, by car or with the free ski shuttle bus, which picks you up and brings you back almost directly just about 100 m far from the house. Other highlights in winter such as snowshoeing, tobogganing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, ice skating or winter hikes offer you the perfect winter holiday.
